Prime Minister Douglas is featured speaker at Labour Party Branch Meetings

BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, DECEMBER 17TH 2012 (CUOPM) – St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister the Rt. Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas will be the featured speaker at branch meetings of his ruling party in constituencies this week.

Dr. Douglas, who is also the National Political Leader of the governing St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party will attend a Joint Branch meeting of St. Christopher 1 (East Basseterre) and St. Christopher 2 (Central Basseterre).

The Labour Party’s Chief Executive Officer, Ms. Sharylle Richardson said Prime Minister Douglas will address the joint branch meeting at Masses House this evening at 7:30 p.m.

She said the Parliamentary Representative for East Basseterre, the Hon. Dr. Earl Asim Martin and the Central Basseterre Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Marcella Liburd will also be speaking.

Ms. Richardson disclosed that a second Branch meeting is planned for Wednesday 19th December for St. Christopher 4 (Challengers to New Guinea) at the Old Road Community Center at 7:30 pm.

Prime Minister Douglas, along with Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Glenn Phillip, will also be speaking.
