Prime Minister Harris Congratulates Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago

(ZIZ News) — Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Timothy Harris, has extended warmest congratulations to the Prime Minister of Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Keith Rowley.

This comes following the People’s National Movement (PNM) swept to power in the general elections on Monday, ending the rule of the People’s Partnership (PP) of Kamla Persad-Bissessar.

In his congratulatory message to Dr. Rowley, Prime Minister Harris said, “there is a wind of change that is blowing across our region,” adding that “your victory reflects that change.”

Prime Minister Harris further expressed confidence that the new government will “pursue an agenda designed exclusively to better the life of all the people.”

He also underscored the bonds of friendship between the two countries and said he looks forward to working with Prime Minister Dr. Rowley.
