Prime Minister Harris Encourages Step Employees to Take Advantage of Training Opportunities

Prime Minister Dr. Hon Timothy Harris is encouraging all employees of the Skills Training and Empowerment Programme (STEP) to take advantage of the opportunities provided through the programme’s training sessions.

Prime Minister Harris was at the time speaking at the most recent in a series of “soft skills” training programmes at the St. Johnson’s Community Centre on Thursday.

Dr. Harris advised the employees not to wait until it is too late to start appreciating the training opportunities.

He said persons receiving skills training will help to develop a better nation.

The soft skills training sessions were conducted by international social skills consultant and crime reduction specialist, Dr. Neals Chitan and former director of gender affairs, Ingrid Charles-Gumbs.
