Prime Minister Harris Participates in Caribbean Week of Agriculture Event in Barbados

While on an official visit to Barbados, St. Kitts and Nevis’ Prime Minister Dr. The Honourable Timothy Harris took time out of his busy schedule to attend the official opening ceremony for the 15th Caribbean Week of Agriculture being held at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.

Prime Minister Harris attended the prestigious regional event as a special guest of Barbados’ Prime Minister, the Honourable Mia Mottley, with whom he held bilateral discussions with prior to the ceremony.

The Caribbean Week of Agriculture is described as the Premier Event on the Regional Agricultural Calendar. It provides a forum for key regional decision-makers in the public and private sectors to discuss the importance of the agricultural sector.

Following the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Harris visited several booths set up at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre as part of the marketplace trade show.
