Prime Minister Harris Pledged to meet with Constituents on Monthly Basis

(ZIZ News) — Last week when the country’s Prime Minister, Dr. Hon. Timothy Harris met with residents of Constituency Seven, he pledged to host frequent meetings, noting that he remains grateful for constituents’ continued support.

“We want to be regular with our meetings, to hold them at least once per month to provide you with multiple opportunities to be updated about what is happening in the country, what is happening in the constituency and what will take place in 2016, a year that we have dubbed a year of wonderful opportunities,” he said.

While speaking of his administration’s commitment to improving citizens’ lives, Dr. Harris said Team UNITY accomplished, in less than one year, what the St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party led administration could not in three years.

He was speaking about the recent construction of a temporary facility for the Basseterre High School.

“In less than one year, we brought a solution to the problem that plagued the Basseterre High School for over three years. The past administration was like a problem child,” Dr. Harris said, adding that “Team UNTIY has brought solutions to the problem that plagued St. Kitts and Nevis.”

At that meeting, Dr. Harris was backed by the support of Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of National Security, Osmond Petty.
