As a citizen of St. Kitts and Nevis and as the 4th Prime Minister of the federation it pleases me immensely to be able to stand here today and thank the Park Hyatt and Range Development, the largest and most successful hospitality developer in the Eastern Caribbean, for seeing the futuristic potential here in St. Kitts and Nevis, that is, both the people and our beautiful destination.

Thank you for your contribution to nation building.

While the Park Hyatt is young it’s impact within the Federation is tremendous. Park Hyatt has been a beacon of light within the hospitality industry, the Citizenship by Investment Industry, and the tourism industry in St. Kitts and Nevis for the five (5) years.

This luxury 5-star resort, strategically nestled near our beautifully golden sandy beaches and crystal-clear waters has indeed transformed the hospitality industry since it opened its doors in November 2017.

I am always pleased by the exquisite service exemplified here; the professionalism of the staff and the overall elegance and charm of the resort certainly adds a uniqueness to our tourism and hospitality products.

Indeed, this resort development has contributed greatly to our country’s holistic evolution over the last 5yrs. Your futuristic vision for the hotel very keenly included the development of our human capital and as such, both investments materialized in tandem.

From the hospitality training programmes for our youth at the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College, to the advancement of our people to top managerial positions in the hotel; Park Hyatt continues to impart knowledge and provide opportunities for professional growth and development.

As a nation, we are eternally grateful for having been afforded the opportunity to deepen our foothold in the tourism industry. For this and more, I extend deepest gratitude on behalf of myself and the people of SKN.

I wish the Park Hyatt every success in the coming years.

I am confident that our nation’s future will be brighter and more prosperous as we continue to work together for the improvement and advancement of our tourism and hospitality industry.

Happy 5th Anniversary! Thank you!
