Prisoners defeat SDA Jets

Sports Page-Tuesday 17th September 2013– The men in blue situated at Russell’s Rest defeated SDA Jets in one of the customary friendly matches between the two teams.

The match was played on Sunday 15th September.

Jets batted first after being inserted by the Prisoners and got to 74 for 8 in their allotted 15 overs. Venrick Newton slammed 45 For the Prison team, A. Henry got 4 wickets for just 3 runs and C. Elliot got 2 for 4.

The Prisoners then got to 76 for 6 in 12.3 overs

A. Henry top scored with 40
For the Jets, Malva Rawlins got 2 for 7 and Creus got 2 for 4.
