Put politics aside

(ZIZ News) — Prime Minister Dr The Honourable Timothy Harris says crime is too important an issue to let politics get in the way.

During his monthly press conference on Monday the Prime Minister said he’s disappointed at the way recent criminal activities have been politicized and expressed a willingness to work with the opposition to find a solution.

“We are prepared to work with them constructively on a plan to redeem and restore law and order. We are prepared to invite them because we believe that in relation to law and order there really should be no politics because the criminals don’t respect party colour,” he said.

He said criminals can strike in any area of the nation so the entire country needs to come together and join in the fight against crime.
