ZIZ News—31st July, 2013–Three International Artists Are In The Federation To Perform At A Benefit Concert On Friday In Nevis.

While here Duane Stephenson and Droop Lion visited the ZIZ Studios to chat with on-Air DJ, GQ.

They, along with I-Octane will be performing at A Benefit Concert, hosted by the non profit organization, Tender Care International.

Droop Lion highlighted the importance of the fundraiser

He said “With the roughness tha ah gwaan in society, you no see it, because this is how we gonna do it. You know this is how we gonna put hands and heart together, and get things done, you know what I mean? Because if we just stay be weself and run away the knowledge ah just suppress amongst we.”

The proceeds will go towards the procurement of a Haematology Machine and a second Chemical Analyser for the Alexandra Hospital’s Laboratory.

Earlier in the day the artists visited the Alexandra Hospital and the Flamboyant Nursing Home with Nevis’ Deputy Premier The Hon Mark Brantley.

Brantley thanked TCI and the artistes and urged the public to support the concert, which he called a “worthwhile venture”.
