Revelers bounce to Kollision Band during St. Peters Festival Jouvert Jam

Basseterre, St. Kitts, October 19, 2019 (ZIZ News): Revellers took to the streets of St. Peters early Saturday morning to participate in the St. Peter’s Festival Jouvert Jam.
The street jam was led by the Kollision Band which travelled from the New Road area, up to the Douglas Estate region to make its way to the St. Peters Playfield.
Members of the St. Peter’s Community as well as persons from neighbouring communities were seen bouncing to the sounds of the music and were later joined by onlookers.
According to the calendar of events, the St. Peters Festival activities continue with Double Wicket Cricket on Sunday October 20 and a Soca, Pork and Beer Festival on Saturday October 26, a Queen Pageant on Friday November 1st and the annual Parade Day on Saturday November 2nd.
The St. Peter’s Festival activities are being held under the theme, “Youths Are The Future”.
