Revellers get a passing grade

StaffordLiburd-1(ZIZ News) — Carnival revellers are being praised for how they conducted themselves at the various Sugar Mas events, particularly the street events.

In an interview with ZIZ News, Deputy Commissioner of Police, Stafford Liburd said despite several outside incidents, the street activities ran smoothly.

“In terms of inside the jamming and the events, I would say that we’ve had good cooperation from the general public, the revellers and the public in terms of inside the jamming. We had some incidents outside, but so far the jamming has gone well. The street activities and the troupes have gone well thus far what we are looking for is the climax on a very high note,” he said.

Sugar Mas 43 officially ended on Sunday 4th.
