Kingston, Jamaica — The police have reported that an unidentified man was shot dead shortly after robbing a woman on a public passenger vehicle on Sunday.
The lawmen say the incident happened about 10:45 am, when the unidentified male allegedly robbed the female of her property and ran onto a premises on Waltham Park Road in Kingston.
Shortly after, explosions were heard and the police were summoned. On arrival of the lawmen, the man was seen with a gunshot wound. He was taken to hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The police did not say who the shooter was.
Meanwhile, the police are seeking assistance in identifying the deceased, who they speculate is in his late thirties.
The body is of dark complexion, slim built and about 175 centimetres (5 feet 9 inches) long. It was clad in a white T-shirt, blue jeans pants and sports a cornrow hairstyle.
