ROC Taiwan resident ambassador visited CFBC campus on Friday

Basseterre, St. Kitts, June 8, 2019 (ZIZ News): This was the Ambassador’s first ever visit to institution.

Upon arrival, His Excellency met with senior administrator’s faculty and staff of the college and introduced himself to the group before being treated with a tour of the campus.

During the tour, Ambassador Lee was given the opportunity to visit the Annex to view a timber Display/Presentation, tour the Health Sciences Division/the Nursing Skills lab where he viewed a simulation presentation, as well as an I.T Robotics Presentation and Automotive Centre of Excellence presentation at the Technical Vocational Department,

After the tour, the Resident Ambassador explained why it was important for him to visit the college noting the Republic of China Taiwan’s interest in increasing training in technical and vocational fields.

President of the CFBC, Jaqueline J Austin, said the visit was a great opportunity for the campus to strengthen the relationship with our Taiwanese allies.

His Excellency Tom lee who was also accompanied by First Secretary, Daniel Kuo, used the opportunity to thank the President of the CFBC for inviting him to the campus.

Republic of China’s (Taiwan) Resident Ambassador H.E Tom Lee officially took up office in August 2018.
