Rodney Elliott Announced Winner Of Oldie Goldie Patriotic Wear Competition

Ms. Rodney Elliott has been announced the winner of the Department of Community Development and Social Services “Oldie Goldie Patriotic Wear Competition”.
Beulah Elliott was adjudged 2nd place. Both ladies will receive a cash prize courtesy of the Development Bank of St. Kitts and Nevis, as well as tokens from S.L Horsford’s and Company Ltd.
The judging of submissions took place on Tuesday 29th September 2020.
According to a press release, participants, aged 62 or older, were expected to ‘don their creative outfits displaying the colours of the national flag”.
The competition was held as part of activities to commemorate International Day of Older Persons which is celebrated annually on October 1.
