Rotary Club Donates Face Masks To Bronte Welsh Primary

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 14, 2020 (ZIZ News): Students of the Bronte Welsh primary school received a donation of face masks courtesy of the Rotary Club.

The donation of masks was held at the school during a brief handing over ceremony on Monday morning.

While speaking with ZIZ, President of the Rotary Club of St. Kitts, P Allister Rawlins explained how the idea of the donation came about while also noting its importance.

“Because of our long relationship, we thought that it would be good for us to present them with some masks at this time when people are coming back to school and some of the children may not have. So we made a presentation to the Education Officer Mrs. Diamond and the Principal Mrs. Rogers”

He said the long standing relationship with the school became evident when the students themselves joined the club.
