Rotary Club Of Liamuiga Donates Thermometers To The Ministry Of Education

Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 19, 2021( SKN Education Media Unit): On Wednesday​ Minister of Education, Hon. Jonell Powell accepted a donation of seventy-two touch-less thermometers from the Rotary Club of Liamuiga for distribution to Schools in St. Kitts.

President of the club Deniece Alleyne, presented the thermometers on behalf of the organisation during their breakfast meeting on that day.

In expressing gratitude for the donation, Minister Powell stated its importance as he explained that many of the devices that are being used in the schools currently are nearing the end of their lifespan.

Minister Powell said he looks forward to the continued partnership with the Rotaray Club of Liamuiga.

The presentation and breakfast meeting were held at Boozie’s Restaurant in Basseterre.
