Rucas H.E To Be Featured On Soca Gold Album 2020

This year’s Soca Gold Album 2020 will feature St Kitts and Nevis’ very own Casim “Rucas H.E” Pemberton with his song “Freaky” Gal a collaboration with Antigua and Barbuda’s Dennis “Menace XL’ Roberts.

Rucas who is also the Groovy Soca Monarch in St. Kitts and Nevis expressed how he felt after hearing the news.

“It is real exciting news for me and one of those reasons why it’s exciting is because my father used to purchase these CD’s from since I was small and I have been hearing about Soca Gold and I had no idea that I would have been able to come now and be a part of Soca Gold and I don’t know if anybody else in St Kitts and Nevis has ever been a part of the Soca Gold and so that in itself gives me great pleasure and joy to be representing this nation on the Soca Gold album for 2020”, he said.

He explained how his collaboration on the song “Freaky Gal” came after meeting Menace XL during his visit to Trinidad for CARIFESTA last year where he also shot a music video for his song “Good Vybz Alone”.

Rucas H.E and Menace XL’s collaboration joins songs by artistes from Barbados, Trinidad and Tobago, St. Lucia, St Vincent and Grenadines, Antigua and Venezuela on the Soca Gold Album 2020.

Rucas thanked all of his supporters, his H.E. Empire Team and his family for continuously supporting his music career.

Published since 1997, the Soca Gold album features 17 of the Caribbean’s top songs. Soca Gold Album 2020 will be released on Friday July 31st.

The launch will coincide with the “World’s Greatest Soca Party” virtual event on VP Records YouTube page.
