Runaway Teens Captured

COPCGWalwynFilePhotoBZIZ News — The police have captured three female juveniles who ran away from the New Horizon Rehabilitation Centre almost two weeks ago.

According to a press release from the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force, members of the Criminal Investigation Department and police officers attached to the Tabernacle Police Station conducted an operation between 11:30 p.m. on Monday 23 June and 1:00 a.m. on Tuesday 24th June which led to the capture of the juveniles.

The three females, who ran away on Sunday 15th June, are now in police custody along with the persons with whom they were found.

Commissioner of Police, Celvin Walwyn, through the release, recorded appreciation to Police Superintendent Charles Smithen and his team who were instrumental in the investigation process.
