Saint Kitts Business Connections (SKBC) advances to Caribbean Innovation Challenge Finals 2013

BASSETERRE, St. Kitts, March 27th 2013 — Saint Kitts Business Connections has advanced to the finals of the Caribbean Innovation Challenge (CIC) to be held in Bridgetown, Barbados, 25th-26th April, 2013.
At the CIC Finals, twenty (20) teams from all around the Caribbean will compete for six awards in three categories: Economic, Social, and Environmental.

After a rigorous selection process involving 493 regional teams, the 20 finalists will showcase their projects at the Finals, Expo and Awards Ceremony to take place on April 25-26, 2013 at the Hilton Barbados, where the teams will be provided with international visibility and feedback from experts and the public, networking opportunities with potential clients and investors.
The team of Saint Kitts Business Connections were elated when they heard the news and would like to express gratitude to all those that helped them along the way. The CEO stated, “The support doesn’t end there. We still need help with our business pitch in Barbados and also financial assistance in order to attend the CIC Finals. All help is welcome.”
About Saint Kitts Business Connections
Saint Kitts Business Connections caters to all businesses no matter of their size and/ or type. We are geared towards using our skills and connections with the youth of St. Kitts in order to increase sales and recognition for companies and businesses. For a small fee we manage the marketing of the company and identify and implement the most appropriate means of gaining recognition. It is comprised of eight (8) young people from St. Kitts ranging from the ages of 16-18 years old. They are as follows:

About the Caribbean Innovation Challenge
The Caribbean Innovation Challenge (CIC) is an international competition and business start-up accelerator program for young entrepreneurs in the Caribbean. The CIC is organized and developed by UNDP Barbados and the OECS and the Young Americas Business Trust (YABT) as a part of the UNDP project Youth Innovation (Youth-IN): a Caribbean Network for Youth Development.
