Sandy Point Woman Gets New Home

Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 21st,  2020 (ZIZ News) A woman in Sandy Point and her family are now enjoying life in a new home donated by local businessmen, the government, and members of the community.

For 8 years Rhonda warner and her 3 children have lived in less than ideal conditions.

But after a conversation with local businessman Robelto “Tango” Glasgow her life has changed for the better.

Mr. Glasgow in collaboration with fellow businessmen Carlton Dupont and Leroy Powell set out to improve her living conditions and that culminated with a new home being presented on Sunday.

During the presentation ceremony Mr. Glasgow called on the authorities to assist Miss Warner by putting the deed to the property in her name.

Parliamentary Representative for the area, the Hon. Shawn Richards commended Mr. Glasgow for taking the lead on this initiative to improve Miss Warner’s life.

In expressing gratitude to everyone who contributed Miss Warner said she is most grateful to God who had a guiding hand in the whole process.

Following the ceremony Miss Warner cut the ribbon to her new home and was given a short tour of the building.

The project was completed with the assistance of the community and benefactors on Facebook.
