Sanitation Workers Appreciated

The workers of the Solid Waste Management Corporation were put in the spotlight on Sunday morning at the 16th annual Appreciation Service hosted by the Apostolic Faith Church.

Aside from sanitation workers the event also showed appreciation to environmental health workers and parks and beaches workers.

Among those addressing the gathering was Minister of Health, the Hon. Eugene Hamilton who praised the workers for their dedication and the organizers of the appreciation service.

He also reminded the sanitation workers that their efforts have an undeniable impact on the nation’s economy.

Various employees also received awards for outstanding work. The theme for the service was “Health can only be achieved with all
of us working together”.
