Therefore, skies over the islands from Puerto Rico eastwards to the Leewards and southwards to Trinidad and Tobago will be partly cloudy to sometimes locally cloudy with brief passing showers at times. Later today, the addition of daytime heating coupled with other local effects will contribute to afternoon thunderstorms over Puerto Rico.
