Eastern Caribbean Forecast: A broad trough extending from the surface through the upper levels of the atmosphere, will impart weak instability over the islands of the Eastern Caribbean today and tonight. Therefore, skies over the islands from Puerto Rico eastwards to the Leewards and southwards to Trinidad and Tobago will be partly cloudy to sometimes locally cloudy with brief passing showers at times. Later today, the addition of daytime heating coupled with other local effects will contribute to afternoon thunderstorms over Puerto Rico.
