Scheduled maintenance outage for Sandy Point, St. Pauls and Cayon

Basseterre, St. Kitts (April 26, 2020)—The St. Kitts Electricity Company Ltd. is advising the public of a scheduled maintenance outage for customers living in Sandy Point, St. Pauls and Cayon, on Tuesday 28th April, 2020. Customers in these communities can expect an interruption of supply between 9 am and 3pm. 

The scheduled maintenance outage is expected to begin in the Sandy Point community at 9am. Only one community will be without power at a time. All customers will have power restored by 3pm.

These scheduled maintenance outages are the first in a series of outages to be carried out around the island to test and improve our Automated Metering Interface (AMI).  SKELEC expects that outages will not exceed three hours.

SKELEC apologizes for any inconvenience caused by these electricity supply interruptions. Persons who remain without power after the scheduled outages are asked to call 465-2013 or 600 from a mobile phone to report the outage.
