Scotiabank Employees raise Money for Education

The Rams Parking Lot at Bird Rock was the scene of much activity on Saturday 6th April 2013 when the employees of the Bird Rock Branch of The Bank of Nova Scotia were joined by their counterparts from the Fort Street Branch to stage their annual car wash.

Organizers of the event noted significant contributions to the effort from some of its partners in Ram’s Supermarket, Island Auto Supplies and Eastern Caribbean Home Mortgage Bank. The event raised EC$5,000.00 which will be matched by our Head Office.

Four primary schools including Edgar T. Morris, Estridge, Saddlers and Newton Ground have been identified to receive contributions towards the development of their library services from these funds.

The Management and staff of The Bank of Nova Scotia extends its full appreciation to all who participated in this effort and invites the general public to join the institution in doing its part to develop our community.
