SDA Jets crash out to South Warriors
(Sports Page)— The action continued in the local second division fixtures on Thursday as SDA Jets and South Warriors engaged each other at the ET Willet Park.
South Warriors won the toss and were soon in trouble at 40 for 5 but Rakeesh came out swinging and with the more sedate Azora, helped to post a competitive score of 160 all out.
The Jets were off to a flying start, with Charles Morton and Curtis Morton Sr in boundary hitting mode but when the first wicket fell at 48, Jets struggled thereafter and eventually limped to 123 for 8 at the end of the 20 overs.
Jawan Liburd entertained with some lusty hitting at the end of the innings, but it was a case of too little too late.
