Search continues for Dylon Clarke

ZIZ News…May 1, 2012 — Search parties were again deployed on, Tuesday 1st May in the hope of finding Dylon Clarke who disappeared on Saturday 28th April at approximately 6pm in the Church Ground area.

The search was carried out under the coordination of the Royal St. Christopher & Nevis Police Force, in conjunction with Fire & Rescue Services, Nevis Disaster Management Department personnel and other volunteers.

Additional resources were arranged from the St. Kitts/Nevis Defence Force, to assist with the search in a number of new areas and secondary searches in previously searched areas, including St. Kitts, with no sighting of young Dylon.

The search continued today Wednesday 2nd May, at 9 am with the staging area/assembling point at the Nevis Disaster Management Department at Long Point. The contact number for the search is 469-5556 with an after-hours contact number of 469-1423. Search parties will be deployed in selected areas, under the coordination of the Police in conjunction other agencies & volunteers.

Persons who still wish to conduct searches on their own are again urged to coordinate their searches with the Command Post established at the Nevis Disaster Management Department.

The Police and the family are urging members of the general public who may have information as to the whereabouts of Dylon Clarke to kindly report such at their nearest Police Station or to members of the family. The Police and other parties continue to intensively investigate the missing person report.

We wish to thank all the volunteers for their efforts to date and plead for additional participation and the support of the general public as the search continues into the fourth day.
