Segment Boys upset Slybo Stoney Grove Strikers

Sports Page — Thursday 30th May 2013 — It must go down as an upset of sorts as the action continued in the CCC Bath United, Caribbean Cable Communications Basil Challenger Football tournament on Wednesday night.

The hitherto unknown Segment Boys engaged their more renowned counterparts, the Slybo Stoney Grove Strikers.

At the final whistle it was Segment Boys who were celebrating. They had won the very competitive game 3 goals to 1.

Akeem Taylor converted twice for the Segment Boys and Makimba Boston once.

For the Stoney Grove team, the lone goal was converted by Don Dyer.
