Several arrests made for various offences

ZIZ News…July 23 2012 — The Police have made a number of arrests for offences ranging from Cannabis Possession, Burglary and assault.

According to release from the Press and Public Relations Office of the Police Force, Eric Halliday of Tabernacle was charged for the offence of Burglary and for being found with house breaking implements committed on 19th July 2012.

Dion Liburd of Lime Kiln was charged for the offence of Malicious Damage committed on 21st June 2012 while both Nakita Thibou, Kenny Claxton and Kito Chapman all of Bath Village were charged for Possession of Cannabis on 20 July 2012.

Meanwhile, a St. Pauls man Devin Rouse aka Jigga of Church Ground was arrested for Assaulting a Police Officer while in the execution of his duty on 17 July 2012.

And in some court news…Kelvin Millard of Upper Cayon was convicted for Possession of Cannabis and Possession of Cannabis with intent to supply committed on 15th January 2012. He was fined $1800.00 in 3 months or 4 months imprisonment and a juvenile of Bay Road, Basseterre was sentenced to two months imprisonment for breaking his curfew.
