Several persons face charges on different offences

ZIZ News…Sept 23 2012 — Among the latest arrests made by the police was a middle aged man from Sandy Point who was trying to evade child maintenance duties.

According to a Police Press Release, Leroy Lewis of Romney Ground, Sandy Point was formally charge for the offence of Being About To Leave the Federation Without Making Adequate Provision For the Maintenance of His Child committed on 18th September 2012.

Meanwhile, in other matters two persons would be brought before the court for traffic offences.

Imra “Kurit” Bacchus of Lodge Village was formally charged for the offences of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol and Failing to Provide a Specimen of Blood at Conaree Village committed on 18th September 2012 and Vansh Lander of Sliver Reef, Frigate Bay was formally charged for the offence of Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol at Fort Street which was committed on 19th September 2012.

Two persons are facing he court for disorderly conduct. They are Kenzo Carey of Tabernacle who was formally charged for the offences of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting, Resisting Arrest, Obstruction, Escaping Lawful Custody and Battery on Police which were committed on 16th September 2012 and Inez Carey of Tabernacle was formally charged for the offences of Disorderly Conduct by Fighting and Throwing Missiles which were committed on 16th September 2012.

And two family members Nakila Maynard of Ponds Extension was formally charged for the offence of Disorderly Conduct by Making Noise which was committed on 20th September 2012 and Sheron Maynard of the same address was formally charged for the offence of Disorderly Conduct by Noise which was committed on 20th September 2012.

Cynthia Sargent of Tabernacle was formally charged for the offences of Wounding and Disorderly Conduct by Fighting committed on 16th September 2012 and Wendell Gumbs of Tabernacle was formally charged for the offence of Wounding which was committed on 16th September 2012.
