Shaky start for St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots

(ZIZ News) — The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots team got off to a shaky start on Wednesday evening when it lost the first match, against the St. Lucia Zouks.

Two early wickets each for Fidel Edwards and Shannon Gabriel reduced the Patriots to 21-4 inside the Powerplay but it was Captain Marlon Samuels’ leadership that got the team to 149-6.

The Zouks won by seven wickets.

The Zouks’ Shannon Gabriel was judged man of the match.

The St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots will take on the Barbados Tridents on Saturday at the Kensington Oval.
