Shooting death in Cayon

(ZIZ)– The police are investigating a shooting in Cayon that has left a young man dead.

Dead is Valentine Gaskin better known as Wally.  He was approximately 30 years old.

Police say the shooting happened around minutes to eight on Thursday night in upper Cayon.

The details around the incident itself are still being compiled by police officers and no suspects have been taken into custody as yet.

We’ll have more information as it becomes available.

This is the federation’s first homicide for 2014.
