SIDF Launches Internship Programme

(ZIZ)– College and university students returning home on summer vacation will have the opportunity to work as interns in various fields.

The Sugar Industry Diversification Foundation (SIDF) has launched its Student Internship Program (SIP) that will provide on-the-job-training for students who are currently pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or Doctorate Degree full-time at a college or university overseas.

The programme will assist students to gain professional work experience in their field of interest and obtain needed finances for the upcoming semester.

The internship period runs from June 10 to August 29, 2014 and students may apply anytime during that period.

Once their applications have been accepted, they will be directed to make contact with the businesses where they wish to be hired as interns.
