Sir Kennedy Remembers Richard Caines

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 30, 2020 (ZIZ News):National Hero and Former Prime Minister Sir Kennedy Simmonds says his friendship with the Late Richard Caines changed the course of his life forever.

Delivering a tribute at Mr. Caines’ funeral, Sir Kennedy said his involvement with politics began when he helped Mr. Caines at the electricity demonstration in 1964

He noted that most recently Mr. Caines used his time to have an impact on children through his interaction with students of the Dr. William Connor Primary School.

Richard Caines passed away on July 27 at the age of 87.
