SKELEC Office to Close on Wednesday 29th July for Tropical Cyclone Al92

Basseterre, St. Kitts (July 28th, 2020)—The St. Kitts Electricity Company Ltd is advising the public that its office will be closed on Wednesday 29th July in preparation for the passage of Tropical Cyclone AL92.

According to a statement from the St. Kitts Meteorological Services on Tuesday morning, a tropical cyclone alert remains in effect for the Leeward Islands and the British Virgin Islands. Heavy rains and gusty winds are likely across portions of the Leeward Islands on Wednesday morning and will spread westward to the Virgin Islands Wednesday night and Thursday.
