SKN Agricultural Transformation & Growth Strategy 2022-2031 Officially Launched

(Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 30, 2021): The St. Kitts and Nevis Agricultural Transformation and Growth Strategy 2022-2031 has officially been launched.

The implementation of this strategy is being led by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Marine Resources in St. Kitts, working in collaboration with the Department of Agriculture in Nevis partners, farmers, fishers, and other stakeholders.

The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries, and Marine Resources received technical and financial support from the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to develop the new national strategy plan for the sector. This long-term plan will outline the path for the sector to transform and essentially reach its sustainable development goals.

The launch was done virtually via ZOOM cloud meeting on 30th September 2021.
