(ZIZ) — The Organization of American States (OAS) is bringing security officials together in one central location to address the issue of security in the hemisphere.
From St Kitts, Inspector Adolph Sylvester Adams will be taking part in annual National Focal Point Meeting in Ottawa, Canada.
OAS representative, Starret Greene outlined some of the areas that will be covered during this meeting.
“They will also be taking the opportunity to review the progress that they have made over the last three years and they will be sharing best practices methods and speaking about the challenges, opportunities, and even the problems that they have experienced in security in each of their member countries,” he said.
Inspector Rosemarie Roberts is presently participating in a regional workshop on Major Events Security for Women, which ends on Wednesday.
The National Focal Point Meeting is scheduled for March 12-14.
