SKN Defence Force awards striving recruits

(ZIZ News) — The St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force issued berets with the SKNDF cap badges to recruits, during a ceremony at the Parade Square, Camp Springfield on Thursday 24th March.

Commander of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force, Lt. Colonel Patrick Wallace addressed the recruits by reminding them of the significance of this phase.

“This is a significant and important point in your transition into becoming full members of the St. Kitts Nevis Defence Force. Many before you have walked this road and I would need you to understand, I want you to understand that you are carrying the legacy of those who have gone on before you”, the Colonel expressed.

The berets suggest that the recruits have attained a higher standard and level of training development.

This stage in the recruitment process, grants the recruits more access to military rights and privileges.
