Basseterre, St. Kitts, January 11th, 2020 (ZIZ News) The flag of St. Kitts and Nevis is flying over Wall Street this week in honour of the birth of Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.
Hamilton was born in Nevis on July 11, 1757 and was credited with founding the U.S. Treasury Department and strengthening the banking system.
He died from a gunshot on July 12 1804.
The St. Kitts Nevis flag is flown for one week every year in honour of his memory.
