SKN Pleased With CXC Results

Basseterre, St. Kitts, September 25 , 2020 (ZIZ News):As countries across the region raise concerns regarding the CXC and CAPE preliminary results released earlier this week, The Ministry of Education here says, the federation does not share similar issues.

Speaking with ZIZ News on Friday, Minister of Education Hon. Jonel Powell said CXC results received for St. Kitts and Nevis indicate improved performance in CSEC and CAPE subjects across the region.

Minister Powell indicated that there are specific cases of concern regarding the results for foreign language at the cape level which are being addressed.

On Friday the Caribbean Examinations Council held a press conference for members of the media from across the region in efforts to address concerns related to the exam results.

It was noted that patterns show that the distribution and quality of grades across the region remain intact and the record reflects a majority of acceptable grades.

Schools and centres are allowed to submit enquiries and requests directly to CXC via the Online Registration System.

The deadline for enquiring and requests for reviews relating to the July- August 2020 examinations these submissions is October 23rd.
