SKN Team For CARIFTA Games Announced
Basseterre, St. Kitts, March 17 2023, (ZIZ Newsroom): St. Kitts Nevis Athletics has announced the team that will represent the federation at the Upcoming 2023 CARIFTA Games in the Bahamas.
According to a release issued on Thursday In the under-20 Males the athletes are Shamarie Newton, William Sharp, Jermahd Huggins, Jelani Johnson, Alexander Caines, Aldrett Nisbett, and Stephan Balston
The Under 20 females are Tianna Liburd, Kyra Crooke, Tijuanique Morton, Trishanie Warner,
Jahzara Claxton, Mikayla Gumbs.
The Under 17 males are Chesson Liburd, Akanye Samuels, Jaylen Bennett, Kenron Freeman and Leon Thomson Jr.
And the under 17 females are Tyra Charles, Decheynel Thomas, Kaliyah Jones, and Rihanna Gardner.
President of SKNA Delwayne Delaney said he’s happy with the chosen squad and they’ve been
undergoing regular training as a lead-up to the games.
The 2023 CARIFTA Games will be held from April 7 to 10 in Nassau, in the Bahamas
