SKNABA finals set

BasketballFilePhotoCSports Page — The 2014 SKNABA FINALS is set. The Cotton Ground Rebels of Nevis has booked their spot in the EPIC Finals to play against the undefeated defending champions the Challengers Exodus.

The potentially historic finals feature two teams which can make history with a finals victory. A victory for the Challengers Exodus would be the first time in a number of years that Premier Division team has won back to back championships. An undefeated finals series will also be the first Premier Division team to win 23 straight games including a Back to Back Championship.

The Cotton Ground Rebels will also be seeking to make history as the first Nevis based team to win the SKNABA National Basketball Premier Division Championship. The Rebels have been in this position before when they lost to the Rams Hitters in 2010.

The season series has seen Cotton Ground failing to win any of their games against the Exodus. A fortune they must change in order to make history and win the Championship.

The finals series will see 2 of the possible 5 games playing at the Grell-Hull-Stevens Complex in Nevis. The finals begins Thursday October 30th at 8pm at Basketball City. Game 2 will be played in Nevis at 6pm on Saturday November 1st. Game 3 will be back at Basketball City on Thursday November 6th and if Necessary Games 4 and 5 will be played on Saturday November 8th in Nevis and Thursday November 15th in St.Kitts.

The admission for what is being labeled as an EPIC Final is $10. According to SKNABA Officials the finals will also include special halftime shows and guest performances by some of the Federation’s top performers including reigning Soca Monarch “Mr. Hype”.
