Basseterre, St. Kitts, December 23, 2021 (St. Kitts Nevis Football Association) — In honoring its social responsibility obligations, the SKNFA has been in a series of talks with the health authorities about the way forward for the resumption of football. As part of fulfilling its role to help sensitise the football community on creating safe football environments, the SKNFA hosted an information session in November, attended by our female footballers accompanied by their parents. At this meeting, Dr. Cameron Wilkinson, Medical Chief of Staff at the JNF General Hospital spoke about the importance of vaccination against COVID-19 among other preventative measures. These sessions are vital as the SKNFA, with the support of the COVID-19 Task Force prepares for the resumption of football.
