SKNLP confident it will win elections

(ZIZ)– The Denzil Douglas-led St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party is confident about returning to office following the next federal election. Speaking during an interview on Tuesday, Prime Minister Douglas said he was pleased with a recent meeting with first time voters.

The meeting was held on Monday at the Agro Tourism Building and formed part of activities to mark the Silver Jubilee Celebrations of the prime minister.

“First time voters, very supportive, very much interested in the politics of the day, interested in the politics of the party and testing me I would say to give them reasons as to why they should vote for me and I believe I might have scored,” he said.

The Right Honourable Dr. Denzil Douglas was elected parliamentary representative for constituency six in March of 1989. In 1995, he became the country’s prime minister and has led the St. Kitts Nevis Labour Party to victory ever since.
