(ZIZ)– The St. Kitts-Nevis Labour Party Candidate for Constituency Three, Konris Maynard, continues to spread his campaign message of service.
Earlier this week, Maynard listed a number of programmes he had been involved in to further develop constituency three. Among them were seeking to improve the road network, identify lands for further community use and liaising with the government to ensure that constituents benefit from the Habitat 30 Housing initiative.
Maynard is of the view that his opponent, the Honourable Sam Condor, has been an inactive representative of the constituency.
“Where is the constituency allowance which you are given in order to sustain the constituency? I’m just asking. Maybe you have done stuff that I’m unaware of and our people are unaware of but this is 15 months now since you have left government,” Maynard said. “What have you done? What scholarships have you started? What groups have you assisted? What programmes have you started inside the community? What efforts you’re trying to revive in the community? What?”
Maynard then used the opportunity to invite the general public to an upcoming event for his constituency.
“So on Saturday morning, we are celebrating fathers with a special breakfast in the constituency in the Lime Kiln Parking lot from 6am on Saturday morning. We’re going to have a lovely breakfast. The last time we had our breakfast, you need to come early because it went really fast because it was so very, very good. So on Saturday morning, I expect to see everyone from the constituency and the country abroad, come and support the Pre-Fathers’ Day Breakfast.”
