Bridgetown, Barbados — The UWI Seismic Research Centre recorded a small earthquake off Barbados yesterday evening.
The 3.9 magnitude tremor occurred at a depth of about 85 km around 6:34 p.m.
Its epicentre of the quake was 131 km northeast of the capital, Bridgetown, 246 km east of Castries, St. Lucia and 268 km east southeast of Fort-de-France, Martinique.
There were no reports of damage and the tremor appeared to have gone unnoticed by residents.
