Social Security To Host Self Employed Symposium

Basseterre, St. Kitts, August 11, 2020 (ZIZ News): The St. Christopher and Nevis Social Security Board is inviting all self employed persons to a symposium to be held on Wednesday.

Acting Manager of Social Security’s Public Relations Department Tasha Hendrickson said the one day symposium will offer “a firsthand opportunity for retooling and key concepts in a contracted economy.”

She outlined the areas that will be covered during the symposium.

“The topic surrounding the symposium includes Valuing and Understanding Self Employed Coverage by our Compliance Manager Dennis Johnson, Insurance Options to Supplement Your Social Security Coverage Terrence Dublin of Nagico Insurance, Small Business Management presented by Deidre Richardson, Using Social Media and Technology for Profitability by Rodney Browne of E-Caribbean and Rebuilding in a Covid Economy by Economist Peter Adrian.”

The Social Security Self Employed Symposium will be held on Wednesday August 12 from 9:30 am to 3pm at the Caribbean Confederation of Credit Unions in Fortlands Basseterre

Interested self employed persons are asked to contact Social Security’s Compliance or Public Relations Departments to secure their seat for the symposium.
