Solar rooftop project

ZIZ News…May 10, 2013 — The Ministry of Energy is in the final stages of implementing a solar rooftop project that could almost completely eliminate electricity costs.

Permanent Secretary, Lenrick Lake told ZIZ that this project would do the most good to persons who burn less than 250 units a month.

He says there is also an extended warranty in case the panels are defective or damaged.

This project is being done in conjunction with the SIDF. He says details such as a start time and the structure of the application process are still being finalized.
