ZIZ News…Nov 29, 2012 — Communications Officer within the Ministry of Social Development Curtis Morton, on Wednesday revealed that the Nevis Sports Museum has launched a contest which will bring joy to some lucky person for the Christmas season.

Morton indicated that in a recent interview that he conducted with the Hon. Carlylse Powell which centered on the development and successes of his son, Kieran Powell, the senior Powell produced a picture which has been kept in extremely good condition, of an eight year old Kieran posing in full uniform with the Nevis under 13 team of that year. That picture will now become the center piece of the upcoming contest being launched by the Sports Museum.

‘The requirements are simple,’ noted Morton. ‘The picture will be placed in the Nevis Sports Museum and starting on Monday 3rd December, visitors to the Sports Museum will have a chance to identify all of the players in the picture and the lone official by their correct names. If there is more than one winner then all of the winning names will be placed in a box and an officially televised draw will be made to determine the one winner, he said.
