St. Kitts and Nevis and Indonesia establish diplomatic relations

Basseterre, St. Kitts (CUOPM) – The Federation of St. Kitts and Nevis has established diplomatic relations with Indonesia.

St. Kitts and Nevis’ Permanent Representative, His Excellency Ambassador Delano Bart, Q.C., and his Indonesian counterpart, His Excellency Desra Percaya signed a Joint Communiqué to establish diplomatic ties between the two countries in New York on Thursday.

Both countries will be able to foster friendship and cooperation between the two countries and nations.

With a population of 53,000 people, St. Kitts and Nevis has equal voting rights with giant China at the United Nations and is the smallest independent nation in the western hemisphere.
