Commenting on the visit, Prime Minister Harris stated, “The Russian Federation is a key member of the economic group BRIC and as such, innovation and technology have been key in the growth of their economy and the embrace of those (innovation and technology) is critical to building sustainable small island states. And so, we will seek to build mutual partnerships with countries like Russia that can help St. Kitts and Nevis to achieve our national development goals.”
